MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. – The No. 16 Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's volleyball team (14-5) hosted Oakland City University (8-6) in Ariel Arena on Friday, September 26.
The Lady Cougars made quick work of the Mighty Oaks, dominating the match and winning in three sets. MVNU won by lopsided scores of 25-13, 25-11, and 25-10. The sweep for MVNU is its fourth consecutive sweep of the season.
The Mighty Oaks proved to be no match for MVNU, hitting just -.149 overall. Evelyn Brown had eight kills, a .429 hitting percentage and five blocks. Faith Maloney had eight kills and a .412 hitting percentage. Eliana Morgan was perfect on the night, converting all four of her attack attempts into kills. Reagan Nuss had 23 assists, four digs and two blocks. Jaelyn Tang had eight digs.

MVNU is back in action on Saturday, September 27 in Ariel Arena against Spring Arbor University. First serve is at 1:00 p.m.
