Women’s Volleyball Secures Sweep at Grace College

WINONA LAKE, Ind. – The No. 16 Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's volleyball team (13-5, 5-2 CL) hit the road and played at Grace College (10-9, 3-4 CL) on Wednesday, September 24.

MVNU started strong and never looked back, taking the first set 25-21 before taking the next two by scores of 25-16 and 26-24 to earn its third consecutive sweep and seventh sweep overall of the season.

Libby Evanshine had 11 kills to lead the way for MVNU to go with three blocks. Evelyn Brown Followed with 10 kills and a .381 hitting percentage. Lilla Nicholas had nine kills while hitting .400 in the match. Eliana Morgan had four kills while hitting .444 to go along with a team-high five blocks. Reagan Nuss had 36 assists, 14 digs, and three kills in the win.

MVNU plays Oakland City on Friday, September 27 in Ariel Arena at 6:00 p.m.
