Volleyball Advances to Crossroads League Championship with Win over Marian

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. – No.2 Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's volleyball (30-6) hosted No.3 Marian University (20-10) in the Crossroads League Semifinals on Wednesday, November 8.

MVNU started off strong winning the first set by a score of 25-22. The Knights responded by winning the next two sets by scores of 20-25 and 16-25. MVNU battled back in set four, winning by a score of 25-20. In the end, the Lady Cougars emerged victorious in the instant classic after winning the final set by a score of 15-13.

With the win, MVNU secures an automatic bid to the NAIA National Tournament and advances to the Crossroads League Championship for the first time since the 2016-2017 season.

What's Next:

MVNU heads to Marion, Indiana to face top-seeded Indiana Wesleyan University in the Crossroads League Championship on Saturday, November 11. First serve is set for 7:00pm.
