MVNU Closes Regular Season with Win at Saint Francis
FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The No.23 Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's volleyball team (28-6, 14-4) had their last regular season matchup of the season at the University of Saint Francis on Saturday, October 28 (8-23, 2-16).
MVNU started off hot by winning set one by a score of 25-18. Saint Francis took a back-and-forth set two by a score of 29-27 to even up the match. MVNU responded by winning the next two sets by scores of 25-19 each. The Lady Cougars closed the regular season with a three-game winning streak and clinched the second seed in the conference heading into postseason play.
