MVNU Defeats Grace College on Senior Night

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. -  The No.23 Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's volleyball team (27-6, 13-4) hosted its last home match of the regular season on Friday, October 27 against the Grace College Lancers (18-10, 9-8).

The Lady Cougars were winners on Senior Night, taking the match in four sets over the Lancers. Prior to the contest, MVNU honored seniors Jessica Bock, Molly Galaszewski, Madison Heck, Chloe Peters, and Sydney Sherrieb, as well as graduate assistant Daniel Daniel Skrzypchak.

The Lady Cougars controlled the first two sets by scores of 25-15 and 25-13. Grace came back and claimed set three by a final of 28-26. MVNU shook off the loss and responded with a 25-14 effort in set four to secure the match victory.

What's Next:

The Lady Cougars are back in action on Saturday, October 28 in Fort Wayne, Indiana for their regular season finale at the University of Saint Francis. First serve at 4:00pm
