MARION, Ind. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's soccer team (7-9, 2-5) fell at No.15 Indiana Wesleyan University (13-1-3, 5-0-3) by a final of 2-4 on Saturday, October 21.
MVNU fell behind 0-3 in the first half of play. Keon Boney scored a goal of a penalty kick and then scored once again to give MVNU some life in the second half. The damage from the first half was too much to overcome for MVNU, unfortunately, as it could not find a way to tie the match before the Wildcats added on another goal to secure the win.
