Men’s Lacrosse Picks Up Victory Over Thiel
GREENVILLE, Pa. – The (RV) Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's lacrosse (2-0) team continued its season on the road at Thiel College on Saturday, February 10.
After trailing 1-0 at the beginning of the game, MVNU rallied with an impressive five unanswered goals. MVNU lead 5-1 after a dominant first half. The momentum continued to surge as MVNU's offense intensified in the second half, notching six more goals in the third quarter. Freshman duo Caleb Sanford and Jonathan Hall showcased their talent by combining for five goals in the latter half. As the final whistle blew, MVNU secured their second consecutive victory by a commanding final scoreline of 13-2.
