Women’s Cross Country Finishes Fifth at Crossroads League Championships
MARION, Ind. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's cross country team competed in the Crossroads League Championships at Indiana Wesleyan University on Friday, November 7.
The Lady Cougars placed fifth at the conference championship meet, finishing with an average team time of 1:56:51.01. This performance set a new school record in the 6K, surpassing the previous mark of 1:57:26. Tammy Liplin also broke her own school record, improving her time from 22:54.8 to an impressive 22:39.8 at the meet. Liplin's time was in the top five amongst all women in program history.
Taylor University won the League Championship, placing first ahead of Grace College.
