Women’s Cross Country Places Third at Jenna Strong Fall Classic
WILMINGTON, Ohio. – The (RV) Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's cross country team competed and ran a strong 5K race at the Jenna Strong Fall Classic, hosted by Wilmington College on Friday, October 17.
MVNU placed third overall out of 22 teams with 104 points. NCAA Division-1 Eastern Michigan won the meet with 66 points, while Wittenberg placed second with a tally of 102. MVNU placed first amongst all NAIA teams in the field. Tammy Liplin led the Lady Cougars with an 11th place finish and a time of 19:02.4.
