Tammy Liplin Named Crossroads League Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week
JACKSON, Mich. – Tammy Liplin of the Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's cross country team has been named as the Crossroads League Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week on Monday, October 6.
Liplin is the first runner from the women's program since Morgan Forney during the 2022 season to earn the honor from the Crossroads League. Liplin had a top ten finish at the OWU Invitation on Friday, October 3, placing seventh overall with a time of 23:06.2. Thanks to the sophomore's effort, MVNU was able to place third overall at the meet.
Liplin and MVNU are back in action on Friday, October 17 at the JennaStrong Fall Classic, hosted by Wilmington College in Wilmington, Ohio at 4:30 p.m.
