Women’s Cross Country Places Third Overall at OWU Invite
POWELL, Ohio. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's cross country team put together a great race at the OWU Invite, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University on Friday, October 3 at Liberty Park.
The Lady Cougars placed third overall out of the 12 teams in the 6k at the meet. MVNU finished with a total of 104 points, finishing behind Ohio Wesleyan and Ohio Northern. Tammy Liplin put together a quality race, placing seventh overall. The sophomore had a time of 23:06.2 in her top 10 finish.
