Mosher Hits 100 Wins at MVNU; Lady Cougars Move to 10-0

UPLAND, Ind. – No. 20 Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's volleyball improved to 10-0 on the season after sweeping both Concordia University (3-2) and Cornerstone University (4-2) in the first day of the Amber McClure Fayerweather Memorial Tournament on Friday, August 30.

The story of the day was head coach Kendra Mosher hitting 100 career wins at MVNU after the team swept the Cardinals by scores of 25-18, 25-17, and 25-22. Mosher, who is in year five at MVNU, then picked up win number 101 after her team dispatched the Golden Eagles by scores of 25-18, 25-18, and 25-20.

The Lady Cougars will wrap up the Amber McClure Fayerweather Memorial Tournament tomorrow, August 31 against Olivet Nazarene University (9:00 am) and Indiana University South Bend (2:00 pm).
