Lady Cougars Win Conference Battle at Marian
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – No. 25 Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's volleyball (13-3, 1-1) resumed conference play on Wednesday, September 13 at the Marian University Knights (7-5, 1-1).
MVNU outlasted the Knights in an absolute battle that went to the very last set. MVNU defeated Marian by scores of 25-21, 14-25, 27-25, 32-30, and 15-6. The win was a historic one for the Lady Cougars as it was their first win against the Knights since the 2017 season. The win also snapped a 12-match losing streak to Marian.
