Cougar Track & Field Set for NAIA Indoor National Championships
BROOKINGS, SD. - The MVNU Men's and Women’s Track and Field team will be competing at the Indoor Track & Field National Championships. The event will take place February 29-March 2 at the Sanford Jackrabbit Athletic Complex.

Upcoming Performers:
The relay of Mason Hendrickson, Isaac Ramseyer, Evan Hodkinson, and Jordon Reesman will be competing in the 3200m relay prelims on February 29 at 5:00pm. The team hit the NAIA A standard and is currently seeded seventh with a time of 7:43.16. Finals for the event will take place on March 1 at 6:35pm.
The relay of Marcus Whaley, Liam Near, Jaden Haldeman, and Seth McCloskey will be competing in the 1600m relay prelims on February 29 at 6:00pm. The team hit the NAIA A standard and is currently seeded 15th with a time of 3:17.60. Finals for the event will take place on March 2 at 6:15pm.
Jaden Haldeman will be competing in the Heptathlon on February 29 and March. Haldeman will begin competing at 1:30pm and will partake in the 60-Meter, long jump, shot put, and high jump. Haldeman will then begin competing the next day at 11:00am and will partake in the 60-Meter hurdles, pole vault, and 1,000-Meter. The junior hit the NAIA A standard and is currently seeded 16th for the event with 4623 points.
Micah Tuggle will be competing in the Weight Throw finals on March 1 at 1:00pm. Tuggle hit an NAIA A standard with a throw of 17.40m and is currently seeded 23rd going into the event. Tuggle will also be competing in the shot-put finals on March 2 at 3:30pm. Tuggle hit an NAIA B standard throw of 15.43m and is currently seeded 32nd going into the event.
Connor Williams will be competing in the 60-meter hurdles prelims on March 1 at 1:50pm. Williams hit the NAIA B standard after running a time of 8.32 and is currently seeded 40th in the event. Finals for the event will take place on March 2 at 1:55pm.
Bryce Wiles will be competing in the 60-meter dash prelims on March 1 at 3:35 pm. Wiles hit an NAIA A standard time of 6.82 and is currently seeded 23rd for the event. Finals for the event will take March 2 at 3:00 pm.
Brooke Holloway will be competing in pole vault finals on March 1 at 4:00pm. Holloway hit an NAIA A standard vault of 3.57m and is currently seeded 15th for the event.
Evan Hodkinson will be competing in the 1,000 meter run prelims on March 1 at 4:30pm. Hodkinson hit an NAIA A standard time of 2:26.25 and is currently seeded fifth for the event. Finals for the run will take place on March 2nd at 3:35pm.
Tyler Shipley will be competing in the Pole Vault finals on March 2 at 2:15pm. Shipley hit an NAIA A standard vault of 4.76m and is currently seeded 13th going into the event.
Lyssi Snouffer will be competing in the high jump finals on March 2 at 2:30pm. Snouffer hit an NAIA A standard jump of 1.68m and is currently seeded 9th going into the event.
The award ceremony for the competition will take place on March 2 at 6:30pm, concluding the 2023-2024 Indoor Track and Field Season.
