Spring Arbor too Much for MVNU Tennis
SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's and women's tennis teams hit the road to Spring Arbor, Michigan for another Crossroads League match at Spring Arbor University on Monday, April 13.
In the second to last match of the regular season, the men's teams fell by a score of 0-7 to the Cougars of Spring Arbor. MVNU was swept in doubles by scores of 0-6 and 1-6. In singles, SAU claimed victory in all matches. Matt Easter had one of the strongest performances for MVNU but fell by scores of 1-6 and 1-6. Noah Hill also was defeated by final scores of 1-6 and 1-6.
The women's team also played SAU and like the men, fell by a final of 0-7. Both doubles match went to SAU by scores of 6-0 and 6-0. Alanna Reyes showed fight in her singles match but ultimately fell by scores of 2-6 and 0-6.

MVNU closes its regular season on Saturday, April 18 at Huntington University. First serve is set for 11:00 a.m.
