UPLAND, Ind. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's soccer team (7-6-2, 2-5-0 CL) traveled to face No. 16 Taylor University (12-2-1, 4-2-1 CL) on Saturday, October 18.
Late in the first half at the 32nd minute mark, Taylor took the lead with a goal by Eliza Luttrell, assisted by Kiana Siefert. Luttrell scored again unassisted late in the second half at the 77th minute. Taylor would win with a final score of 2-0.
Taylor outshot MVNU 18-10. Taylor had eight shots on goal, and MVNU had four shots on goal. Bekah Blair led with four shots, putting one on goal. Hannah Miller came away with six saves for MVNU, putting her at 98 saves this season and just eight shy of 400 saves in her MVNU career.

MVNU will be back at CH4 Stadium to host Grace College on Saturday, October 25 at 3:00 p.m. for Senior Day.
