SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's soccer team (7-4-2, 2-3-0 CL) faced No. 14 Spring Arbor University (8-1-4, 4-0-1 CL) on the road in Spring Arbor, Michigan in a Crossroads League match on Saturday, October 11.
Spring Arbor struck early, scoring twice in the first five minutes to take a quick 2-0 lead. Just before halftime, the hosts added another goal, extending their advantage to 3-0. In the final 50 seconds of the match, SAU sealed the win with a fourth and final goal, defeating MVNU 4-0.
Despite the loss, MVNU recorded six more saves than Spring Arbor, but it was outshot 21-4.

The Lady Cougars will return home on Wednesday, October 15 to take on No. 7 Indiana Wesleyan University at CH4 Stadium with the first kick coming at 7:00 p.m.
