INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's soccer team (6-3-2, 1-2-0 CL) traveled to Indianapolis, Indiana to take on No. 4 Marian University (11-0-0, 3-0-0 CL) in a conference matchup on Wednesday, October 1.
Marian came out strong against the Lady Cougars, scoring twice within the first five minutes of the road match. The Knights carried that momentum into the second half, adding three more goals to secure a dominant 5-0 victory.
Marian outshot the Lady Cougars 23-1, with Hannah Miller making seven saves. 12 of Marian's shots were on goal, while Meghan Moser had the lone shot on target for MVNU.
