MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's soccer team (6-2-2, 1-1-0 CL) hosted the Bethel University Pilots at CH4 Stadium on Saturday, September 27.
MVNU and Bethel were scoreless for the first 78 minutes of the match until the Pilots Karly Jarfouche nailed a shot into the top left corner. The goal proved to be the difference in the match as MVNU was unable to find the equalizer and would fall to Bethel 0-1.
Bethel had 19 shots with 12 of them coming on goal, while MVNU had 13 shots with seven of them on goal. Chelsea Simpson led MVNU with both of her shots being on target. Despite the loss, Hannah Miller was great in goal, saving 11 shots that came her way in the match.

MVNU heads to Indianapolis, Indiana for a conference match at the No. 4 Marian University Knights. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m.
