GOSHEN, Ind. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's soccer team (6-1-2, 1-0 CL) competed in its first Crossroads League contest of the season at the Maple Leafs of Goshen College (1-3-4, 0-1 CL) on Wednesday, September 24.
The only goal of the game came late in the first half, when Meghan Moser scored her first goal of the season at the 44:53 mark off an assist by Cora Bishop.
MVNU outshot Goshen 22-5, with goalkeeper Hannah Miller making two saves in the 1-0 victory.
