Lady Cougars Play to a Scoreless Draw against Golden Bears
MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University women’s soccer team (2-0-1) returned home to play in CH4 stadium and took on the West Virginia Tech Golden Bears (0-2-1) on Saturday, August 30.

The Lady Cougars put up a strong fight against the Golden Bears, with the game ending in a hard-fought 0-0 draw. MVNU finished with five shots on goal in the game, while WVU Tech finished with nine. Alexis Hoffman led MVNU with two shots on goal.
Hannah Miller was dominant in goal for MVNU, recording nine saves. Miller made two massive saves in the final 12 minutes to preserve the shutout for the Lady Cougars.

The Lady Cougars will hit the road to Siena Heights University on Wednesday, September 3. Kick-off will be at 7:00 p.m.
