Women’s Golf Closes Season at Crossroads League Championships

COLUMBUS, Ind. — The Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's golf team closed its season at the Crossroads League Championships at the Otter Creek Golf Course in Columbus, Indiana on Tuesday, April 29.  

The Lady Cougars finished eighth in the league tournament after three rounds of play. MVNU had a score of 301 (98, 104, 99) in the tournament. 

MVNU was led by Mary Weisburn, who placed 26th out of 46 competitors with scores of 89, 91, and 85 through three rounds. Devon Carpenter followed closely, finishing 33rd with scores of 103, 96, and 90. Ryan Satterfield secured 36th place with totals of 98, 102, and 97, while Jaya Booth rounded out the team's efforts in 41st place, shooting 96, 103, and 115.
