McTighe Earns Spot on Crossroads League All-Freshmen Team
JACKSON, Mich. – After a strong debut season, Brenna McTighe of the Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's bowling team earned her first career accolade from the Crossroads League on Tuesday, February 24.
The first-year standout from Martinsburg, West Virginia was named to the Crossroads League All-Freshmen Team. McTighe was one of just five freshmen throughout the conference to earn a spot on the team.
McTighe was a consistent contributor in the Lady Cougar lineup, finishing as a top three performer for the women's team on most occasions. McTighe turned in one of her best performances of the season in the CLB 1, placing second overall with a tournament average of 189.67 and 569 total pins through the three games. McTighe also saw single pin perfection in the final OBC tournament of the season, going 14-of-14 on single pin conversions.
