Strait Earns Crossroads League Women’s Bowler of the Week
JACKSON, Mich. – Sophomore women's bowler, Olivia Strait, was selected for her first career Crossroads League Women's Bowler of the Week honor after the Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's bowling team competed in the Ohio Bowling Conference 3.
The OBC 3 was on Thursday, January 22 at the Columbus Square Bowling Palace where Strait placed 10th with 575 pins to secure bowler of the week. Strait's performance helped the women's team place fifth out of the 12 teams with 4667 pins total.
At the Crossroads League Bowling Tournament 1, on December 5, Strait placed 10th with an average of 163.67. Strait's performance contributed to MVNU, placing fifth out of eight teams.
Due to weather, teams did not compete at the Crossroads League Bowling Tournament 3 on Saturday, January 24, but bowling will next compete in the Crossroads League Bowling Tournament 4 in Jackson, Michigan on Saturday, January 30.
