MVNU Bowling Plays at the Ohio Bowling Conference Tournament 2

COLUMBUS, Ohio. — The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's and women's bowling teams continued their season in Columbus, Ohio at the second Ohio Bowling Conference Tournament on Saturday, October 19.

The women's team placed 12th overall out of 16 teams, scoring a 4478 and the men's team finished in 15th place out of 17 teams, scoring a total 4982.

For the women, Kenzie Willoughby placed 23rd with a total score of 717, averaging 179 on the day. Paige Hicks also placed 35th for the Cougars, with a total score of 685, averaging 171. Abigail Larkin rounded out the top three for MVNU with a 37th-place finish. Larkin had a total score of 678 and an average of 169 on the day

The junior, Jacob Burre placed 45th place with a total score of 752, averaging 188. James Blaney totaled 738 and averaged 184, which was good for 48th place. Christian Phillips followed behind Blaney in 49th place, rolling a 727 with an average of 181.

 

What's Next:

The Cougars will play at the Muskie Mash Tournament in Coshocton, Ohio on Saturday, November 2.
