Leibacher Honored by Crossroads League
JACKSON, Mich.– The Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's basketball team had one player, Kylie Leibacher receive second team honors from the Crossroads League for her efforts during the 2025-2026 season.
Leibacher, a junior from Castalia, Ohio, made an immediate impact for the Lady Cougars after transferring from Ashland University. In her first season with the program, she emerged as a strong offensive force and earned her first honor as a Lady Cougar.
Leibacher shot an impressive 50.3 percent from the field, 85.7 percent from the free-throw line, and 33.3% from three over the course of the season. Leibacher led the team in scoring at 13.3 points per game, highlighted by a season-high 29-point performance in a road game at Indiana East University. She also contributed 4 rebounds and 2.4 assists, showcasing her all-around ability and value to the team.
