Four Women’s Basketball Players Make CoSIDA Academic All-District Team
GREENWOOD, Ind. — College Sports Communicators recognize four Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's basketball players for their performance on the court and in the classroom during the 2024-2025 season.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District Women's Basketball teams, chosen by College Sports Communicators, honor exceptional student-athletes for their achievements both on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program further acknowledges women's basketball standouts across four divisions: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
Teresa Maggio (RS-SO), Katie Sprang (SR), Emily Walker (SR), and Angela Roshak (JR) all received a spot on the CoSIDA NAIA All-District Team.
To qualify for the women's basketball CoSIDA All-District Team, a player must compete in 90 percent of the school's games or must start in at least 66 percent of the school's games. A player must maintain a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, in both undergraduate and graduate studies, excluding their first semester.
