Johnson Named Crossroads League Defensive Player of the Week

JACKSON, Mich. – For the first time in her career, Serenitee Johnson is the Crossroads League Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week on Monday, December 23.

Johnson anchored MVNU's defense, pulling down 12 rebounds and coming away with three steals in the 79-74 win at Oakland City on Tuesday, December 17.

Johnson also scored 20 points and dished out 7 assists for the Lady Cougars in the win.
