Zimmerman Earns First Career Crossroads League Player of Week Honor

JACKSON, Mich. – After a great week at the plate for the Mount Vernon Nazarene University softball team, Skylar Zimmerman earned her first career Crossroads League Softball Player of the Week on Monday, April 14.

Zimmerman was on fire for the Lady Cougars as she finished the week batting .357 with three home runs, one double, and 13 runs batted in. The freshman outfielder also scored nine times and had three multi-hit performances.

Zimmerman and the Lady Cougars are back in action on Thursday, April 17 at the Cougar Softball Field against Goshen College at 3:00 p.m.
