Hoffman Named Crossroads League Softball Pitcher of the Week
JACKSON, Mich. — Nadia Hoffman was rewarded by the Crossroads League with the Softball Pitcher of the Week honor after a tremendous week in the circle for the Mount Vernon Nazarene University Softball team on Monday, April 15.
Hoffman fired a complete-game shutout to lead Mount Vernon Nazarene to a 4-0 win over Spring Arbor on Saturday, April 13. In her seven scoreless frames, Hoffman fanned 11 and allowed just three hits and one walk.
The accolade from the Crossroads League is Hoffman's first of the season. MVNU Softball competes on the road tomorrow, April 16 against Saint Francis at 3:00pm and 5:00pm.
