Baker Named an Individual NAIA Men’s Cross Country National Qualifier

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – After a record-breaking year as a freshman for the Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's cross team, Will Baker is heading to the 2025 Men's Cross Country National Championship as an Individual Qualifier.

Baker is coming off an All-League performance at the Crossroads League Championship Meet, placing fourth and breaking his own school record with a time of 24:29.20.

The freshman from Mount Gilead, Ohio is the only individual qualifier from the Crossroads League on the men's side. The 70th annual Men's Cross Country National Championship is set to take place on November 21 at the Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Florida.
