Wineberg Named WHAC Defender of the Week
LIVONIA, Mich. – After a strong week on the court for the Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's volleyball team, Noah Wineberg has been named as the WHAC Defender of the Week on Monday, February 2. It is the second time Wineberg has been honored with this accolade in his career.
Wineberg was a force at the net, totaling 12 blocks in MVNU's matches against Wittenberg University and Aquinas College. The senior from Weirton, West Virginia averaged a WHAC-high 1.71 blocks per set for the Cougars.
Wineberg and MVNU men's volleyball will be back in action for another WHAC matchup on Friday, February 6 at Goshen College. First serve is set for 7:00 p.m. in Goshen, Indiana.
