Men’s Volleyball Receives AVCA Team Academic Award

LEXINGTON, Ky. – After a great season academically, the Mount Vernon Nazarene University Men's Volleyball team has been named as a 2025 AVCA Team Academic Award recipient.

MVNU is just one of six men's volleyball programs in the NAIA to earn this honor from the National Volleyball Coaches Association in 2025. The honor for MVNU marks the first time that the team has received the award from the AVCA.

Overall, there were 1,450 collegiate and high school volleyball teams across the country that maintained a year-long grade-point average of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale to earn the 2025 AVCA Team Academic Award.
