Men’s Volleyball Falls to No.14 Lawrence Tech in Five

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. – The (RV) Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's volleyball team (8-3, 6-3) had another WHAC matchup in Ariel Arena on Saturday, March 2 against No.14 Lawrence Tech University (11-2, 7-2).

MVNU and Lawrence Tech engaged in another nail-biting five-set match at Ariel Arena, reminiscent of their intense encounter the day before. The teams traded sets in a seesaw battle of skill and determination. Lawrence Tech set the tone with a commanding 25-18 win in the opening set. However, MVNU rallied in the second set, narrowly clinching it with a score of 27-25. Set three remained tightly contested, with Lawrence Tech edging ahead to secure a 25-22 victory. The fourth set proved to be a fierce showdown, with both teams refusing to back down. In the end, MVNU emerged victorious with a hard-fought 25-23 win, setting the stage for a decisive fifth set. In the final set, Lawrence Tech won 15-9 to claim the match.
