Track & Field Competes at Harrison Dillard Twilight
BEREA, Ohio. — The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's and women's track and field teams had a select group compete at the Harrison Dillard Twilight, hosted by Baldwin Wallace University on May 7-8.
Top Men's Results
Griffin Flusch placed third in discus with a toss of 46.32m.
Isaac Burns placed first in high jump with a NAIA B standard mark of 2.06m.
Daron Porter placed first in the 800m with a time of 1:52.57.
Mason Hendrickson placed second in the 3000m steeplechase with a NAIA B standard time of 9:19.64.
Top Women's Results
Kate Ruffle placed third in long jump with a jump of 5.46m.
The 4x400m relay team of Ruffle, Jenna Brumbaugh, Makenna Langford, and Maddy Lengacher placed first with a school record time of 3:56.52.
Louisa Hallabrin and Allison Bonito placed 16th and 17th in the 800m with times of 2:20.35 and 2:20.42, respectively.
What's Next
MVNU's national qualifiers will compete in the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships in Asheville, North Carolina at the University of North Carolina Asheville on May 20-22.
