ALLIANCE, Ohio. — The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's & women's track & field teams competed in the Walsh Tune Up, hosted by Mount Union on April 23-24.

 

Men's Top Performers:

Evan Hodkinson (800m) – First overall, 1:50.91, NAIA B Standard, school record

Marcus Whaley, Jaden Haldeman, Seth McCloskey, Samuel Haley (4x400) – Second overall, 3:16.56, NAIA B Standard

Tyler Shipley (Pole Vault) – Second overall, 4.91m, NAIA A Standard, school record

Jaden Haldeman (110m Hurdles) – Third overall, 14.58 seconds

Chandler Hartman (Shot Put) – Sixth overall, 14.41m

 

Women's Top Performers:

Lyssi Snouffer (High Jump) – First overall, 1.75m, NAIA A Standard, school record

Kate Ruffle (Long Jump) – Second overall, 5.49m

Marissa Rutter (100 Hurdles) – Fourth overall, 14.90 seconds

Shyanne Moser (Shot Put) – Fourth overall, 12.67m

 

What's Next:

MVNU will compete in the Crossroads League Championships on May 1-2, hosted by Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana.
