Cougars Set to Compete at Outdoor Nationals

MARION, Ind. - The MVNU Men's Track and Field team will be competing at the 71st annual Outdoor Track & Field National Championship. The event will take place May 24-26 at Indiana Wesleyan University.

 

Upcoming Performers

Jaden Haldeman will be competing in the 400m hurdles prelims on May 24th at 4:55pm. Haldeman hit the NAIA B standard and is currently seeded 19th with a time of 53.89. Finals for the event will take place on May 26th at 2:20pm.

Marcus Whaley will be competing in the 400m hurdles prelims on May 24th at 4:55pm. Whaley hit the NAIA B standard and is currently seeded 26th with a time of 54.36. Finals for the event will take place on May 26th at 2:20pm.

The relay of Mason Hendrickson, Isaac Ramseyer, Evan Hodkinson, and Alex Jenney will be competing in the 3200m relay prelims on May 24th at 6:50 pm. The team hit the NAIA A standard and is currently seeded ninth with a time of 7:39.83. Finals for the event will take place on May 25th at 5:30pm.

Erich Rhodeback will be competing in the 110m hurdles prelims on May 25th at 2:15pm. Rhodeback hit the NAIA A standard after running a time of 14.21 and is currently seeded ninth in the event. Finals for the event will take place on May 26th at 2:30pm.

Hodkinson will be competing in the 800m prelims on May 25th at 2:50pm. Hodkinson hit an NAIA B standard time of 1:52.14 and is currently seeded 23rd for the event. Finals for the event will take place on May 26th at 4:00pm.

The relay of Whaley, Liam Near, Haldeman, and Rhodeback will be competing in the 1600m relay prelims on May 25th at 8:45pm. The team hit the NAIA A standard and is currently seeded eighth with a time of 3:14.18. Finals for the event will take place on May 26th at 5:25pm.

Kyler Dickey will be competing in the shot put finals on May 26th at 3:00pm. Dickey hit an NAIA A standard throw of 16.51m and is currently seeded eighth going into the event.

Micah Tuggle will be competing in the shot put finals on May 26th at 3:00pm. Tuggle hit an NAIA A standard throw of 16.37m and is currently seeded ninth going into the event.

The award ceremony for the competition will take place on May 26th at 5:40pm, concluding the 2022-2023 Outdoor Track and Field Season.
