Men Take Fourth at Yellow Jacket Invitational

CEDARVILLE, Ohio. - The MVNU Men's Track & Field Team competed at the Yellow Jacket Collegiate Outdoor Invitational, hosted by Cedarville University on March 25. The team placed fourth out of 37 teams.

Top Performers

Kyler Dickey had a great day in the shot put after hitting an NAIA B Standard with a throw of 15.70m. Dickey was able to take home second place for the Cougars.

Erich Rhodeback took home first place in the 110m hurdles in a great time of 14.43.

Evan Hodkinson was able to put together an impressive race in the 1500m run to place second in a time of 4:10.33.

Jaden Haldeman led the Cougars with a first place finish of 54.79 in the 400m hurdles. Rhodeback finished not far behind to take second with a time of 56.32. Marcus Whaley was steps behind to finish fourth in a time of 56.83.

To finish the day, the team of Whaley, Liam Near, Haldeman, and Seth McCloskey were able to put together a great race to finish first in the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:27.26. The team of Gage Wilson, Kaleb Bosworth, Trent Koning, and Isaac Ramseyer claimed second in the event with a time of 3:37.10.

The MVNU Men's Track & Field Team will be competing in the Knight Open, hosted by Marian University on March 31.
