MVNU Track & Field Partakes in Tiffin Robinson Family Open
TIFFIN, Ohio. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's and women's track and field team competed in the Tiffin Robinson Family Open, hosted by Tiffin University, on Saturday, February 14.
Men's Top Performers
William Baker finished the men's one mile run at a time of 4:27.00, placing first.
Tyler Shipley hit a height of 4.75m in pole vault, earning second place.
Keaton Curnutte placed second in the men's 200m with a time of 23.30.
Simon Rohwer placed third in the men's 800m after finishing with a time of 1:58.31.
Brayden Wiles took third place in the 200m with a time of 23.36. Wiles also placed third in the men's high jump with a height of 1.93m.
Owen Rair, with a time of 4:44.43, finished third in the men's one mile.
Women's Top Performers
Makenna Langford placed first in the women's 400m with a time of 1:00.00
Maddy Lengacher finished second in the women's 400m with a time of 1:00.02
Leah Cooper took second place in the women's 60m after a time of 7.94. Cooper also placed third in the women's 200m with a time of 26.46.
Loey Hallabrin finished second in the women's 800m with a time of 2:21.34.
Isabel Henderson finished second in the women's 200m with a time of 26.45. Henderson finished first with a mark of 5.40m in the long jump.
Janelle Gehman placed third in the women's one mile after a time of 5:51.86.
Kate Ruffle placed third with a mark of 5.08m in the long jump.
What's Next
MVNU will next travel to Marion, Indiana for the Indoor Crossroads League Championships, hosted by Indiana Wesleyan University at the Troyer Fieldhouse on Friday, February 20 and Saturday, February 21.
