Men’s Soccer Has Four Make CoSIDA Academic All-District Team

GREENWOOD, Ind. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's soccer team had four student athletes selected to the CoSIDA Academic All-District team after each had impressive seasons on the field and in the classroom.

Miguel Bello (SR/Madrid, Spain), Dany Chassin (SO/Saint Martin de Londres, France), Brayden Pierson (SO/Lebanon, Ohio), and Micah Post (SR/Abcoude, The Netherlands) each earned a spot on the team.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® men's Soccer teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men's soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

The Academic All-District® award is given to student-athletes with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average that are sophomores athletically and academically. Individuals must have been nominated by their Sports Information Department and meet specific performance minimums for their sport. For soccer, they must compete in 90 percent of the institution's matches played or must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's matches.
