HUNTINGTON, Ind. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's soccer team (7-6-5, 2-5-2 CL) traveled to Huntington University (4-8-5, 2-5-2 CL) for its final regular season game on Wednesday, October 29.
MVNU and Huntington both put up four shots in the first half, which ended in a 0-0 tie going into the half. MVNU put up seven more shots in the second half, testing Huntington's goalkeeper. The game would end in a 0-0 tie after a competitive match.
MVNU outshot Huntington 11 to eight, putting three shots on goal to Huntington's one shot on goal. Miguel Bello, Mattia Zuin, and Chucho Salgado each had one shot on goal. Brayden Pierson grabbed one save in net for the Cougars.

MVNU will advance to the Crossroads League Tournament Quarterfinals as the No. 8 seed on Tuesday, November 4, where it will travel to play No. 1 seed Bethel. Game time is TBA.
