MISHAWAKA, Ind. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's soccer team (5-2-3, 0-1-1 CL) traveled to Mishawaka, Indiana to play at Bethel University (7-1-2, 1-0-1 CL) in a Crossroads League match on Saturday, September 27.
The match remained deadlocked at 0-0 throughout the first half, but Bethel broke through in the second, netting four goals to claim the 4-0 win.
Despite the loss, Brayden Pierson made seven saves in goal, while Bethel held a commanding 18-3 advantage in total shots. 11 of Bethel's shots were on frame in the match. Miguel Bello led MVNU with two shots, while Max Walker added a shot as well.
