MONTGOMERY, W.Va. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's soccer team (3-0-2) played at West Virginia University Tech (2-0-2) on Saturday, September 6.
After 90 minutes of play, the road match ended in a scoreless draw against the Golden Bears. All five of WVU Tech's shots were on goal, while three of MVNU's four shots were on goal.
Elkana Maier had two shots on goal and Mattia Zuin had one shot on goal for MVNU. Brayden Pierson secured his fourth shutout of the season, coming away with five saves in the process.
