MVNU Clashes with No. 6 IWU in Hard-Fought Home Battle

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University Cougars men's soccer team (5-4-6, 2-3-2) faced off against the No. 6 Indiana Wesleyan University Wildcats (13-1-1, 5-1-1) in a Crossroads League Conference matchup on Saturday, October 19, at CH4 Stadium.

IWU took an early lead with a goal from a free kick, making it 1-0. The score remained unchanged going into halftime. Despite several opportunities in the physical second half, MVNU couldn't capitalize and ultimately fell to IWU, 0-1.
