Season Ends for Men’s Soccer after Draw with Saint Francis

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's soccer team hosted the University of Saint Francis on Saturday, October 28.

Both teams entered fighting for their Crossroads League Tournament lives. Despite a 1-1 draw, MVNU needed a win to qualify for the postseason with Taylor defeating Goshen College. Taylor moved up due to the tiebreaker, knocking MVNU down to ninth. MVNU will be absent from the Crossroads League Tournament for the first time in 10 years.

Despite the loss, MVNU had the opportunity to honor seniors Keon Boney, Sam Hershey, Nate Hutsell, Nathan Parker, and Ryan Walters for their hard work and dedication prior to the match.
