Men’s Soccer Loses Hard Fought Battle against No.5 Grace

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's soccer team (5-5, 0-1) opened conference play at CH4 Stadium against No.5 Grace College (7-2, 1-0) on Saturday, September 23.

MVNU put together a masterful first half as it entered the break with a 2-0 lead. However, the Lancers showed why they are the fifth ranked team in the nation in the second half as they scored three unanswered goals within a ten-minute span. MVNU would eventually fall by a final score of 2-3.
