Stolp Named Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week by Crossroads League

JACKSON, Mich. – After a strong week on the pitch for the Mount Vernon Nazarene University Men's Soccer Team, Bram Stolp has been named as the Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week by the Crossroads League on Tuesday, September 5.

The honor is the first of Stolp's young career in an MVNU Cougar uniform. The freshman keeper from Bergen Op Zoom, The Netherlands, made his first two starts and made an immediate impact. Stolp turned in two clean sheets on the week and combined for 14 saves in MVNU's wins against Lourdes University and St. Mary-Woods College.

Stolp and MVNU men's soccer are back in action on Wednesday, September 6 at Shawnee State University in Portsmouth, Ohio. Kickoff is at 7:00pm.
