Men’s Lacrosse Dominates Missouri Valley in 24-0 Victory
MARSHALL, Mo. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's lacrosse team (6-2) began its Midwest trip to Missouri with a matchup at Missouri Valley College (0-3) on Tuesday, March 10.
MVNU dominated its competition as it came away with a resounding 24-0 win. MVNU showed no mercy, scoring six goals in the first quarter. At the halfway point, MVNU lead 9-0. MVNU put the game away in the third, scoring nine goals. The Cougars were up 18-0 after three and would score six more in the final 15 minutes to secure a 24-0 victory on the road.
Chase Lawler led the scoring for MVNU's offensive attack with five goals. He also had three assists. Ethan Haney had four goals while Dylan Haynes and Connor Silliman each had three. Colton McKee led MVNU with seven groundballs and Rylin Batac added five groundballs and two caused turnovers. Vaughan Hawkins had two saves in goal and Griffin King added a save as well.

MVNU will conclude its Midwest trip with a contest at William Woods in Fulton, Missouri. Game time is set for 4:00 p.m. EST.
