Cougars Fall Short in Heart Conference Semifinals
DAVENPORT, IA. - The third-seeded Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's lacrosse team (11-4, 3-2 HAC) fell in the first ever Heart of America Conference Tournament Semifinal against second-seeded Saint Ambrose (8-6, 3-2 HAC) on Thursday, April 26 by a final of 14-9.
MVNU held a 5-4 lead at the half, but the Fighting Bees outscored the Cougars 5-2 in the third quarter to take control of the game and eventually win in the end.
