Cougars Fall in Heart Conference Matchup at (RV) Benedictine

ATCHISON, Kan.—The No.8 Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's lacrosse team (8-3, 2-2 HAC) lost at (RV) Benedictine College (6-3, 2-0 HAC) on Friday, March 31 at Legacy Field. The match was MVNU's second in as many days.

The first half was a close battle with the Cougars finding themselves down 3-6 at the half. In the third quarter, the Ravens outscored the Cougars 4-0 to pull ahead. In the fourth quarter, the Cougar offense got going as it scored six goals. The Ravens countered with seven in the final frame and would go on to win by a score of 17-9.
